Feldenkrais Method ®


The Feldenkrais Method is a system of learning from within, through pleasurable patterns of movement, to achieve greater comfort, ease and efficiency in the performance of everything from basic daily functions to high level creative or athletic activities.


This method can benefit anyone who wants to learn to:

  • ease pain and discomfort
  • improve posture, flexibility, coordination and balance
  • prevent injury
  • reduce anxiety
  • improve concentration

The Feldenkrais Method offers two formats: group lessons called Awareness Through Movement®, and private hands-on sessions called Functional Integration®.

Awareness Through Movement lessons are verbally directed sequences of comfortable, easy movements that gradually evolve into movements of greater range and complexity. We offer a weekly class on Thursday evenings, 6:30-7:30.
Functional Integration lessons are one-on-one sessions using gentle touch and guided movements to stimulate your nervous system’s ability to learn new, more comfortable and effective patterns of movement.
