Janis Feichtmeir, L.Ac., co-founder of Cloud's Rest Healing Center, is a passionate advocate of maintaining health through appropriate lifestyle choices, nutrition and Chinese medicine. Through her study with Daoist priest Jeffrey Yuen and her application of findings in the field of functional medicine (using food/supplements to help balance different organ systems) she integrates the ancient spiritual roots of Chinese medicine with a modern day practice. With her down to earth, caring and informative style, Janis is viewed not only as a healer but as a teacher, helping to provide a practical road map to a better quality of life.
In addition to private practice, Janis has been involved for years in offering acupuncture care in public healthcare settings. She has previously served as a faculty member of ACTCM, supervising students providing acupuncture care at the Women's Community Clinic in San Francisco.
